Antique mirror feature walls, hand-silvered and made to measure for your space.

Every one of our antiqued mirror and verre églomisé finishes can be made as custom-sized panels, so your feature wall fits the room exactly. We can survey and install for you, or supply panels worldwide for your own installer to fit.

Made to measure

A wall of light, depth and character

An antique mirror wall opens up a room, bounces light into darker corners and adds a sense of age that new glass can’t. Each panel is made by hand, so no two walls are ever the same.

  • Any of our Heritage Collection finishes, on clear, bronze or grey glass
  • Panels cut to your exact sizes, in a layout that suits the wall
  • Toughened glass for use behind a heat source or in busy areas
  • Cut-outs for sockets and switches, and holes for wall lights or fixings
  • Polished or decorative bevelled edges, with optional brass rosettes

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the largest antique mirror panel you can make?

Toughened panels can be very large. The maximum depends on the shape, for example around 4000 x 1000mm, 3000 x 1200mm or 2000 x 1800mm. Untoughened glass, which can be cut on site, is available up to 800 x 1200mm in 4mm and 800 x 2400mm in 6mm.

How are antique mirror panels fixed to the wall?

Panels are generally fixed with solvent-free mirror adhesive, which gives a seamless finish with no visible fixings. Holes can be pre-drilled for mechanical fixings, but most clients prefer the clean look of adhesive.

Do you measure and install, and what does it cost?

Yes. We offer a full measure, supply and fit service across the UK through our installation partners, or supply and delivery only. Measure and installation is £895 for orders up to £6,000, and 15% of the order value above that. Surveys are usually booked within 7–10 working days of your deposit, and installation follows within 4–6 weeks.

Can antique mirror be used in a bathroom or outside?

Yes. Antique mirror can be used in bathrooms and outdoors, as long as the surface it is fixed to is clean and dry, and the edges of each panel are completely sealed so that no water can get in.

Which antique mirror finish is best for a feature wall?

It depends how much reflection and character you want. Lighter finishes such as Foxed stay bright and reflective, while heavier finishes such as Really Rough are more dramatic and less reflective. Bronze or grey tinted glass gives a warmer or cooler tone. Compare our finishes and order samples to see them in your own light.
