Can I use Rough Old Glass as a splash back behind my AGA or hob?
Yes - we have many finishes which can be toughened making them safe for use behind a heat source, hygienic and easy to clean. You can use the search facility to select which finishes can be toughened.
Can I have cutouts for electrical sockets, light fittings, fixings and pipes?
Yes - we make any necessary cutouts and drill holes etc. prior to the glass being toughened and silvered.
What size panels or tiles can I order?
Every panel we make is made to order to your specifications. The minimum and maximum sizes are detailed on each finish page.
Can you arrange for a site survey & installation?
Yes of course - We can provide a full measure, supply and fit service for residential and commercial projects or we can supply and deliver only, if preferred. Our installers are based in London so travel costs will be applicable outside of the M25.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver our antiqued mirror glass panels worldwide. In the UK, from Cornwall to the Midlands, we usually deliver on our own van unwrapped. Our driver requires assistance to unload large panels to a ground floor location. For small orders or those further afield we pack, crate and dispatch via a fully insured pallet network which would be a kerbside delivery. Worldwide deliveries are also crated and sent via air or road freight.
How much does it cost?
Please complete our estimate request form with as much information as possible, including individual panel sizes, finish, whether you require any cutouts or toughening, if you would like supply only or a measure and fit service and your postcode so we can calculate costs for you. Your estimate will then be emailed to you usually within 1 working day. Trade prices are provided to bona fide trade clients only.
What's the difference between polished and bevelled edges?
The majority of our panels are supplied with a simple neat polished edge which has a tiny 3-5mm smooth chamfer. Bevelled edges range from a 10 - 50mm wide bevel which is more of a decorative feature.
