Hand silvered Steel Wire Mesh Glass - the wires are enveloped in the glass itself and would have traditionally been used as safety glass. The 0.5mm wires are in a 1cm grid formation. Creates a great industrial look.
- Maximum size - depends on width to height ratio - approximately 3000 x 1500mm
- The edges can be polished but imperfections are to be expected due to the encapsulated wires.

NB .Wire Drift - When the wires are inserted into the glass during manufacture, there can be some deviation of the wire from a square pattern. It cannot therefore be guaranteed that the wires will run square. In addition to the general wire drift, which can be either a linear distortion across the pane or bowing of the wires to form a slight curve, there are occasional 'pulls' in the wire, usually near to one edge of a stock sheet. These are also covered by the overall distortion limit of 15mm in a 1m width pane.

We deliver our Antiqued Mirror Glass Panels, Framed Mirrors & Original Antique Mirrors Worldwide.
Samples are shipped via DPD.
In the UK, we have a weekly van run from Devon to London and back. If your address is on our route our driver will deliver your panels or framed mirrors unwrapped as they're safely loaded and transported on a specialist glass frail.
For those further afield we wrap in recyclable corrugated Kraft with specially engineered cardboard edge protection and send via a specialist mirror logistics company.
Oversized and international shipments are crated and dispatched in bespoke wooden, lined crates via a fully insured courier network.
Worldwide deliveries are crated and sent via air or road freight.
Incoterms: DAP (Delivered At Place) / DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Rough Old Glass can arrange shipping for your order but, as the customer, you will be liable to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties and clearing fees, where applicable.
Drivers will require assistance to unload large or heavy deliveries to a ground floor location for all deliveries - if this may pose a problem for you, please do let us know so we can help with alternative arrangements.
